Celebrity Scribbles Dave Sherwood has fond memories of John Weller. . . Paul Weller has been my music hero/god since secondary school days in Guildford, Surrey (close to Paul's home town of Woking). I've been lucky to have met Paul on dozens of occasions over the years, but I will never forget the very first time (Tokyo 1993) and the brilliant introduction John gave me. John having established I was a huge fan of Paul's and that I was a 'Guildford boy' took me backstage to meet my hero (who obviously needed no introduction to me) and said to Paul and then me. . .
